Ralph Lauren Polo Logo To Be Replaced With Actual Bag Of Money

polo shirtRalph Lauren’s classic polo shirt will be updated this season with the oversized man-on-a-horse-with-a-stick logo to be replaced with a large bag of money that will hang off the front pocket.

“It just made sense,” said a spokesperson for the company. “When you wear one of our shirts, it’s because you want to say ‘Look! I’ve got bags of money’. So why waste time with symbolism? We’re cutting out the middle man, so to speak”.

Sydney man and regular Polo shirt wearer Hugh Leicester said he was initially tentative about the new look. “I’ve certainly got a lot of money, but I’ve never actually seen it in a bag before. That said, I’ve never seen a game of polo before either, and that never seemed to trouble me”.

Well it’s not really surprising. I mean the man playing polo was already intimidating, because only rich fancy people play polo. I’m too poor to even look at a polo course. Is it even called a course? Ya see that how not-rich I am. I need to get me a monocle or something.

In related news, the Ed Hardy logo will be replaced with simply a picture of an actual douche bag.
