‘George W Bush Presidential Library’ Actually Just A Small Coffee Table In A Corridor

George Bush satireFormer US Presidents and dignitaries from around the world gathered in Dallas yesterday for the opening of the George W Bush Presidential Library.

Expecting to be presented with a grandiose building dedicated to intellect and reading, what they found instead was a small, dusty coffee table with a few baseball magazines and an old VCR remote.

President Obama, who was hoping to slink away with a good novel and a Sudoku after the ceremony, did well to hide his disappointment. “Well, it’s cute isn’t it,” he said.

Ex-President Bush said he hadn’t read any of the books in the new library yet but was looking forward to spending his retirement slowly getting through them.

You have to love the American sense of humour, they elected that bozo George Brainless Bush TWICE !!!
His IQ has recently been re evaluated and is now bigger than his shoe size because they took an average of the Texas population and realised that if your smart enough to get the job twice then you must be brainier than most. But don’t forget it’s Texas were talking about.
My last visit to this august hall was memorable as I got to meet the man himself. He was supervising the children’s section,as I tried to engage him in conversation he struggled to form a coherent sentence, then several burly men hustled me away and told me the library was closing, but I suspect that the real reason for my ejection was because I had written in the comments section of the visitors book “I like Osama Bin Laden and I’ve invited some of his friends round for coffee”.
