Romney: “Obama had an unfair advantage: policies”

Mitt Romney satireLosing Presidential candidate Mitt Romney has defended his campaign performance, claiming he lost because the race wasn’t run on a level playing field.

In a phone call to major donors and fundraisers, Mr Romney said Obama had an unfair advantage because he had the benefit of policies.

“You can imagine for somebody making $25,000 or $30,000 a year, being told you’re now going to get free health care, I mean, this is huge” Mr Romney actually said.

One of Mr Romney’s advisors, who did not wish to be named, said it never occurred to the campaign team that they could have also developed policies that benefited the population. “Nup, never even cross our minds. We all feel a bit silly now … damn it!”
